As part of their continuous digital transformation, Musgraves needed a tailored signage solution for their SuperValu store in Newcastle to enhance customer communication and highlight their fresh produce offerings. The aim was to promote key messages such as local sourcing, meal inspiration, and special offers while maintaining brand consistency across departments. The solution needed to be flexible, high-impact, and manageable centrally by in-store teams or Focal Media.

Focal Media implemented a visually compelling digital signage network across SuperValu Newcastle’s key in-store zones,including the bakery, fresh food counter, and window screen at the front. The solution features commercial-grade, high-visibility screens strategically positioned to attract customers as they shop, delivering engaging, up-to-date content designed around the SuperValu brand.

From promoting the build-your-own salad bar and showcasing the butcher and fish sections, to highlighting the bakery area and using above-freezer digital displays, as well as screens in the queue area that help engage customers with dynamic content, featuring promotions, product reminders, and brand-related messaging, the solution is designed to capture attention and enhance notable in-store spaces. Each screen is powered by a centralised content management system that enables seamless content updates, campaign scheduling, and coordination across locations.
